Twice a week from Salzburg to Finnland
Since the beginning of December 2019, it has been clear: from summer 2020, there will be a new flight connection for Salzburg Airport.
The airline Finnair will start summer 2020 twice a week - always Wednesdays and Sundays - the Mozart city of Salzburg with Finland.
But this new connection not only strengthens the connection to the Scandinavian market. In addition, this new flight connection connects Salzburg with the East Asian and Indian regions and links Salzburg once again as an event and convention destination.
Additional connections for Salzburg
"With Finnair, we have a strong premium partner in Salzburg, which in addition to its charter program from summer 2020 will also take scheduled flights between Helsinki and Salzburg. With this connection, we not only reach the Finns who like to come to Salzburg, but also our domestic passengers, who want to discover the north. What is important, however, is the great side effect of this new line connection - with the connecting shaft in Helsinki, we are reaching many guests from Asia and India who want to travel to our region, "says Christopher Losmann, Airport Procurator and Head of Traffic & Sales.
The connection from Salzburg to Helsinki also offers many important connections both within Europe and to India, East Asia and America.
The float of the Airlaine is well positioned and currently consists of around 83 aircraft that bring their passengers from A to B.
