This traditional hotel has received a comprehensive, well thought out renovation, and has now reopened as a trendy design hotel. ‘Stay Joyful’ is the slogan under which the seminar hotel offers supreme standards of comfort. The establishment was first mentioned in 1507, known as the ‘Hirschenwirt’ from 1700 onwards, and has been under the ownership of the current family since 1830. The extensive redesign of the hotel and garden, and construction of the adjoining residential project ‘Am Hirschengrün’, show how the young management team has realised its ambitious goal of creating a new, yet historical space in the Elisabeth - Vorstadt district. The full potential of wood as a construction material was utilised masterfully, playing the starring role in the renovation of the ‘Hotel Zum Hirschen’. Only regionally-sourced timber was used, lending the family owned residence fresh splendour – between modernity and tradition, sustainability and innovation.  

The reconceptualisation has been rounded off perfectly by adorning the hotel with carefully selected contemporary art, stylishly enhancing the atmosphere.

 ‘Furo’ is a marvellous deli, right next to the ‘Hirschen’, bringing Levantine vegetarian cuisine and exceptional taste experiences to Salzburg, blending in ideally with the overall "Am Hirschengrün" concept for a perfect symbiosis of tradition and innovation.
