Unipark Nonntal

The Unipark Nonntal lies in a super central area of the city. This architectural masterpiece offers four large auditoriums and nine conference rooms – plenty of space for events, meetings and much more. The various rooms can be flexibly equipped for conferences, seminars and conventions. Participants also have access to a language lab and fully-equipped media room with computers. The gallery is the perfect setting for exhibitions, receptions or presentations. Unipark Nonntal is the main building of the Faculty of Cultural and Social Sciences. Further premises of the faculty are located at the Altstadt Campus in the Wallistrakt and at Rudolfskai 42, housing another 10 lecture halls.

With capacity for 25-300 guests, the rooms are also wheelchair accessible. The Unipark Nonntal’s public parking garage has around 100 parking spots and additional paid parking is available within walking distance.

The Unipark Nonntal rooftop terrace: incredible views of the Fortress Hohensalzburg

The university’s rooftop terrace offers an amazing panoramic view of the Fortress Hohensalzburg and the nearby mountains. Coffee is served by the UNIKUMSKY Café. Fans of architecture are sure to love the entire building and especially the striking exterior of the university with its facade featuring many metal slats.

• Thomas Bernhard Auditorium (HS1) - 300 people, tiered lecture hall seating with fixed seats, entrances at the library and campus level
• Georg Eisler Auditorium (HS3) - 120 people, flat with mobile seating (with flip up writing surface), can be used for various events (banquets, workshops, exhibitions, performances)
• Agnes Muthspiel Auditorium (HS4) - 150 people, tiered seating with fixed seats, entrances at the library and campus level
• Anna Bahr Mildenburg Auditorium (HS5) - 160 people, tiered seating with fixed seats, entrances at the library and campus level
• Seminar room 1 - 25 people: language lab
• Seminar room 2 - 26 people: computer room
• Seminar rooms 3, 4 and 5 - 40 people
• Seminar room 6 - 31 people
• Seminar room 7 (31 people), seminar room 8 (31 people) & seminar room 9 (37 people): feature a dividing wall, can be folded away if necessary
• Gallery: wide corridor to the seminar rooms
• All auditoriums and seminar rooms feature state-of-the-art AV equipment / technology
